In July 2018, Thurman Blevins was shot in the back while running from police in North Minneapolis. The next day I went to the protest outside of Minneapolis’ 4th Precinct to observe, learn, and pay respect.

The policeman who shot Thurman was found not guilty on any charges of manslaughter or murder.
